Privacy Policy

FOMO Marketing Entertainment Inc. operates FOMO ROOM. This policy explains how we collect, use, protect and handle personal information when you use our website and the services currently available.

Who we are and how to contact us

FOMO Marketing Entertainment Inc. (FOMO ROOM, we, us or our) is responsible for the personal information described here. Contact support@fomoroom.com with privacy questions or rights requests. We serve an international audience where access is permitted; availability and legal rights depend on your location.

Information you provide

We collect your full name and date of birth for account eligibility and identity review, along with your email address, chosen account type, password hash, display name, username and the profile details you choose to add, such as a bio, location, website, profile photo and cover. We also process media you upload, verification submissions, your settings, post and broadcast consent records, moderation decisions, reports, creator blocks, and information you send to support. Full name and birthdate are encrypted separately from your public profile and are available only to authorized staff during pending identity review. They are retained with your account records; contact support for correction or deletion. Please limit what you provide to what is needed for the service.

Account access and security information

Passwords are stored as salted, one-way hashes. Account sessions use necessary cookies and server-side token records. During restricted access, the hosting sign-in service may also provide an authenticated account identifier and email. Hosting and delivery services receive technical information such as IP address, browser details, request times, errors and security events to operate and protect the service.

ID photos and selfies

The dedicated verification form collects your photo ID and current selfie only after you accept its collection notice. Images are encrypted before storage in Bunny and can be decrypted through protected endpoints for authorized manual review. We record submission status, consent-notice version, reviewer actions and opaque audit references. We do not create facial-recognition templates or run automated face matching, liveness or document-authenticity checks. We do not use identity images for advertising, recommendations or model training.

Your photos and videos

Profile and creator media are stored using Bunny Storage or processed for playback using Bunny Stream. Photos prepared by the upload interface are resized and re-encoded to remove embedded metadata. We store file references, type, size, processing and review state, and a fingerprint used to resume interrupted uploads. Your private library is accessible to your account and authorized staff. Private uploads are not automatically made public. A creator must separately consent to a specific post version and staff must review it. Approved titles, captions and chosen display names may be visible to visitors; creator media is limited to verified members. Withdrawing a post stops new media grants, but already delivered media, copies and active provider playback may persist. Use the separate identity form for ID and selfie images.

Local storage, cookies and preferences

Necessary cookies maintain hosting access and your account session. Browser storage may retain appearance and upload-resume preferences. The private staff design workspace also retains illustrative activity; that workspace is unavailable to members. People sharing your browser profile may be able to see that local information. Clearing site data removes browser settings and cookies but does not delete server records or storage-provider files. Our current site does not add advertising pixels or optional cross-site advertising cookies.

How we use information

We use information to provide accounts and profiles, store and deliver requested media, perform manual eligibility review, respond to support and privacy requests, maintain security and audit records, prevent abuse, enforce our terms, and meet applicable legal obligations. Where relevant, processing may be necessary to provide a requested service, comply with law, pursue legitimate operational and security interests, or rely on consent when the law requires it. Optional consent can be withdrawn; some features may be unavailable without necessary information.

International processing

Information may be processed outside your country, including in the United States and locations used by our hosting, storage and delivery providers. The private image storage connection currently uses New York, while video delivery can involve other regions. Where applicable law requires transfer safeguards, the appropriate arrangements must apply to the relevant processing. Contact us for information about safeguards relevant to your request. This policy does not promise availability in every country.

How long information is kept

Identity images become unavailable for review after 24 hours and immediately when a review closes or a submission is withdrawn. We attempt storage deletion after review or withdrawal; scheduled cleanup runs approximately every six hours to remove expired images and retry failed deletions. Provider outages may delay physical deletion. Verification outcomes, audit references and other account records are retained separately. Account, support, media and security records are kept for the service and legitimate operational or legal needs; general account deletion is handled through support rather than an automatic deadline. Legal holds and necessary security or legal records may limit deletion. Backup and infrastructure-log retention depends on the relevant provider and operational requirements.

Your choices and privacy rights

You can edit your profile, remove media, withdraw a pending identity submission, sign out and clear local browser data. Depending on your location and the applicable law, you may also request access, correction, deletion, a copy of information, restriction or objection, withdrawal of consent, an appeal, or other applicable opt-outs. Email support@fomoroom.com with your request. We may ask for proportionate information to confirm authority without asking you to email identity images. We respond within the period required by applicable law and explain any lawful refusal or exception. Where applicable, authorized agents may act for you, you may complain to your local data-protection regulator, and you will not be penalized for exercising a legal right.

Advertising and privacy signals

Because the current service does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, there is no advertising sale or sharing to activate through a browser signal. We do not use Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals to enable additional tracking. If our practices change, we will update this policy and provide any consent or opt-out controls required by applicable law before the new processing begins.

Security and your responsibilities

We use access controls, encryption for identity images, protected service credentials, password hashing, bounded uploads and audit records to reduce risk. No system can guarantee absolute security. Use a unique password, protect your devices, and contact support promptly if you believe your account or information has been compromised. Do not put financial, medical or identity details into ordinary profile fields or media.

Adults only

FOMO ROOM is intended for adults aged 18 or older and is not directed to children. Do not create an account or submit information if you are under 18. Contact support@fomoroom.com if you believe a minor has provided information so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
